Success Story
Firstly, this month I want to start with an acknowlegement. Ladies that Lunch founder, Tracey Jefferies and her business partner, Claire Moloney, who run Pink & Black Property Consultants were finalists in this year's Estate Agent of the Year Award. After just over 18 months in business, it's a fantastic achievement. Well done, Tracey, Claire and your team. It's great to be able to celebrate your success. For more details see the comment column.
If you're a growing business and want to recognise your success or want to nominate someone else, then how about entering the everywoman Awards. Sponsored by NatWest, the Awards celebrate inspirational business women who have achieved significant success - particularly those who've had to overcome adversities such as financial constraints, social disadvantages or skills gaps.
If you are a business owner or know a woman who you believe deserves to have their business achievements recognised, then you should enter these Awards. Being selected as a finalist, or in fact winning an everywoman Award, will attract attention and support from the business world, government, industry and the press. Not only will your individual achievements be acknowledged, but your business will gain credibility and well-deserved recognition.
There are Awards in several categories, including Retail for the first time this year.
To nominate yourself or another person for one of the Awards visit the website and fill in a form. The closing date for entries is Friday 29th August (13th June for the Retail Award).

Pink & Black named as finalists in the Estate Agent of the Year Award
Directors Tracey Jefferies & Claire Moloney from Pink & Black Property Consultants joined other finalists for The Estate Agent of the Year Award luncheon at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London, this week, to discover who had won one of the prized trophys. Although pipped at the post, Pink & Black did get a special mention from Phil Spencer, of Relocation, Relocation fame, who was very keen to know where the company name came from.
“Getting short-listed for this award after being in business for such a short time was such a surprise, and a very nice one. Voted for purely by satisfied clients is just the best news!”, commented Tracey.
Pink & Black launched in September 2006 and run the business from a boutique style office in Summertown. With five staff, the business trades on the very personal attention it delivers to sellers and buyers. Offering accompanied viewings, seven days a week, is just one of the many additional services included as standard in the fee.
If you would like to benefit from Pink & Black's excellent personal service then contact them on 01865 515919 or email info@pinkandblackproperty.com.
