Top Tips for Business
Our Ladies that Lunch speaker for January was Karen Gill, one of the founders of Everywoman, the UK’s leading provider of training, resources and support services for women in business. She told us her own fascinating story, together with some tips for business that I'd like to share with you.
- Always be clear what you want to achieve and why;
- Don't be afraid to admit you need help and support;
- Build alliances and networks;
- Always be the best you can;
- Get feedback and learn from your mistakes;
- Be flexible and seize opportunities;
- Don't be afraid to be the first;
- Have fun.
If you want to build new networks, seize opportunities and have fun, then come along to the Ladies that Lunch February event, when you'll have the chance to feel confident about how you present yourself (both in what you wear and say). See below for full details and I look forward to welcoming you along.
